Procrastination is the thief of time

Procrastination  means delaying or postponing an action. When we delay or postpone something we waste our precious time . Sometimes we lose a good opportunity and have to suffer  lot . On the individual level if a person delays an action ,he is alone the sufferer . But on the higher level ,if a person in power delays something , the whole society or nation or even the world may have to suffer . The problem is that time once passed cannot be recalled . A thing meant for a particular time lose it's meaning and significance at another time . If you continue to delay studying you will not get through your exams . If you delaying itself is an undesirable act . We should never put off till tomorrow what we can do today .

Promptness in doing an action is important to achieve any worthwhile success . In  Shakespeare's play Hamlet ,the hero delays action against the villian on one or the other excuse ,the result is terrible . Not only does he get killed but many people perish along with him . If a person at the helm of affairs is indecisive and delays taking action ,he pluges the whole state or institution into turnmoil. Men of action do not delay . That's why there is an insistence on time management in the corporate world . One who manages his time well ,achieve success .
The sooner we stop procrastination the better it is for us ......
